Another side of Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria was one of Scandinavias first charter destinations. This has resulted in a lot of prejudices about the island as a charter ghetto among mainly the Swedes – a far from fair perception of the beautiful island that has so much amazing to experience. Despite the fact that 250,000 Swedes travel to Gran Canaria each year, the island is still largely undetected. Our mission was to change this.

We had the globetrotting photographer and famous Swedish professional surfer Binge Eliasson create a photo exhibition in one of Stockholm’s trendiest malls. The aim was to show all sides of the Gran Canaria, all it has to offer in terms of culture, nature, history, gastronomy and activities. The event had a major impact and gained a lot of attention by visitors as well as media and even caught the attention of national tv and radio.
